We are a senior couple, still active, presently living and working in North Vancouver BC but prefer to retire to a much smaller city and really love the Nelson area. It can be no basement but then it would have to have ample storage upstairs. If there is a besement then storage does not matter, on main floor but I want the laundry facilities on the main floor. I would prefer the house NOT to have natural gas or oil, but prefer all electric because of allegies. My husband is presently working in property anagement and has his own little business of Seniors Handyman for seniors ( although does not necessarily work for only seniors) so he would be able to take good maintenance care of whatever home we rent to own. We will eventually have property in North Vancouver to sell, but probably not for a couple of years as it is in an estate settlement.
